Updates On Things - Drug Trial
I have not been posting much the last few weeks. Have not had much strength and been resting. I started the drug trial a couple of weeks ago, and to put it succinctly, it has been brutal. Dropping weight without exercise The trial consists of two parts, one part is a virus and the second part is an immunotherapy drug. The virus, in theory, "opens up" the cancer to be seen by the immune system, since cancer hides. The immunotherapy portion then goes in to do its thing. This is all in theory. For my cancer, it is a bit more of cutting edge. Certain mutations in cancer makes immunotherapy (and certain other treatments) not effective, or not viable. It also turns out that there are not many in this trial.
